Today was Dress As Your Favourite Book Character parade here at Renaissance. This is part of our World Language and Literacy Week celebrations. We had lots of students and staff who participated and dressed as their favourite character, from Early Years all the way through to our Year 13 students.
It was wonderful to see so much colour and so many fantastic characters on parade. We had princesses, dragons, batgirl, minecraft, little red riding hoods, snow whites, lots of Harry Potter characters, adventurers, fairytale characters and a whole class of Dalmatians led by no other than Cruella de Ville herself! We also had a class dress up as Bird in a Box and we even had a king! It was a fantastic morning celebrating reading and literacy at our school.
