Council of International Schools (CIS)

The Council of International Schools is a membership and accreditation body for top international schools worldwide. Our accreditation was first awarded in 2017 and re-accredited in 2023.  These achievements are testimony to the school’s on-going commitment to high-quality international education and a journey of continuous improvement.

Colleges and universities acknowledge that a CIS-Accredited School meets globally recognised standards and promotes qualities and skills they are seeking for students.

International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO)

Renaissance International School is an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy: a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education of lasting value for our students.  The School has just completed the final stage of authorisation for the Primary Years Programme and re-authorisation for the Diploma.  We will begin the final milestone for the Middle Years Programme (MYP) later on in Academic Year 2024-25 to become an IB Continuum School.

Research from leading institutions shows that IB students are more likely than their peers to succeed in higher education. The IBO supports schools and educators to provide a rigorous, exceptional  education, offering professional development that improves pedagogy and leadership. IBO programmes challenge students to excel in their studies and encourage both personal and academic achievement. These do more than other curriculum models by developing inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed. More than 4,000 schools worldwide teach IB programmes.
