Head of Primary and Early Years
An experienced educator, Mr. Peter has spent over 24 years in education serving students, parents and schools. He was Chairman of the British Schools Overseas steering group that helped Renaissance achieve great success. He has worked at Renaissance as Assistant Head of School for four years and is looking forwards to helping the Renaissance team improve on their previous best.
He has been a senior manager in some of the best schools in the UK and overseas and helped turn around a failed school in UK. In the UK he was a Local Education Authority Adviser for three years and a part-time Primary Education lecturer for Exeter (Marjon) University. He has written policies and schemes of work for counties in the UK and an article of his for GL Assessment is still available online. He has taught all Primary year groups, including EYFS, has coordinated the majority of curriculum areas and was part of a team judged ‘Outstanding’ by OfSTED.
Mr. Peter led a 7-month, overland expedition for Save the Children Fund. His team drove a huge four-wheel drive ex-military truck from England to Zimbabwe. He loves spending time with his wife and daughter, reading or watching science fiction, going out with friends and travelling with his little family.
