Description: I am a qualified primary school practitioner from England. I completed a Graduate Training Programme whilst teaching in London and received my PGCE. Before arriving in Vietnam, I was teaching in an inner-city London school for three years and before this I was a sports coach and special needs support teacher in the mainstream. I have now been teaching at Renaissance International School Saigon for four years in Year 2, Year 5 and now, in Year 6. I have been involved in the development of the primary curriculum in roles as Maths Subject Leader and Science Subject Leader. I was part of the team that led our school through the achievements of our BSO inspection and CIS accreditation. My philosophy on teaching is that it should always involve, inspire and challenge learners to develop their skills of communication, expression, critical thinking and risk-taking.
