Renaissance International School Saigon is located in District 7, around 15 minutes from the city centre. Established in 2007 for pupils aged 2 to 18, the school offers the British-based National Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum and IB Diploma to its pupil body from 25 countries.
Renaissance is an IB World School. It has the enviable reputation of having a 100% pass rate for the IB Diploma, 6 points above the world average. The University of Cambridge IGCSE exams for Year 10 and 11 have seen 34% of pupils achieve A/A* Grades and 87% pass 5 subjects or more. At Primary level the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is an integral part of the teaching programme. Renaissance is committed to delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which provides the platform for future learning. Evidence shows that children receiving such a programme have a considerable advantage over others of the same age.
Our staff is recruited primarily from UK qualified teachers. They bring to the school a wealth of talent and international experience. There is an enviable pupil-teacher ratio with an emphasis on individual learning and achievement.
Renaissance has excellent facilities. Classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and linked to a high-speed internet connection, providing the best of modern technology to support teaching and learning. Our facilities include: science laboratories for Chemistry, Physics and Biology; specialist rooms for Music, Drama, Art and Design Technology; computer suites; a 321-seat theatre with full light and sound system; a 25-metre indoor swimming pool; a large gymnasium; a multi-purpose room; a fitness centre; a library and media centre incorporating a recording studio; an excellent canteen serving healthy nutritious food.
Our success extends beyond Renaissance. Our graduating pupils have been offered places at leading universities across the globe. For such a young school, we already have a growing body of alumni all over the world.
